they had lights inside their eyes

the life of a college girl still waiting and wondering.
this is my space for creation and wishes and a reminder to
make each day memorable.

All men have stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems. But all these stars are silent. You – you alone will have stars as no one else has them. In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night. You, only you, will have stars that can laugh! And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure, it will be as if, in place of the stars, I had given you a great number of little bells that knew how to laugh.

i don’t know, i don’t know, i’m such a warm weather person, but the idea of living in maine, not in the winter, not even in the spring because no one does spring like the south, but maybe in the summer and in the fall, living on the coast, putting all my energy into experiencing the ocean from a little seaside gray house, i don’t know, that just sounds perfect.

thanksgiving break!

lots of good plans.

first and foremost, i’m going to see like crazy.  and i’m so looking forward to it.  kind of trying not to get my hopes too too up, but you know, getting my hopes up.

also going bra shopping!  victoria’s secret dream angels demi bras have changed my life.  not to get too personal, but i can’t stand crazy pushup bras, and these guys are perfect.

okay so maybe not a ton of thanksgiving plans.  whatever.  i’ll let you know what happens and how it all goes afterwards :)

sorry i haven’t been posting much, i’m still here i promise.

i’ve been working on nanowrimo, and it’s taking a lot of my energy.  here are a few cool links, ready go

hands down, the coolest hotel i’ve ever seen.  if you feel like vacationing in vancouver and living like a fairy, i recommend this spherical treehouse.  guys, it sways in the breeze.

for all you mountain goats fans out there, this is a map tagged with all the locations ever mentioned in john darnielle’s sweet tunes.  pretty rad.

this girl’s photography is like nothing i’ve ever seen.  check it out.

this is my incredibly wonderful snowboard that has been snickering at me from inside its bag all fall.  pro of buying a snowboard during the summer is that it’s SO much cheaper, con is that you have to wait and wait and wait BUT we are almost upon snowboarding season.  slopes best get ready.

what if i actually have an anxiety disorder
